Palm Sunday celebrated

Belvai March 24, 2024: The Palm Sunday celebration at our Belvai Parish today was a joyful and meaningful event that marked the beginning of Holy Week. The service revolved around the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem.

Parish Priest Rev. Fr Joseph Alphonse Cardoza blessed the palms and led the prayer.

Parishioners with palm leaves participated in the procession, singing hymns and reciting prayers to commemorate Christ’s passion and death. This procession symbolized the crowds welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem, waving palm branches in his path.

Overall, the Palm Sunday celebration at our Parish was a beautiful and moving experience that helped usher in Holy Week.
